Satellite pro a40 "oystering"

    Hello,
    this is my first post here. I would like within the next 6 weeks or so to replace the mobo and any internal (including connectivity for dvi,usb3,... of a previously modded Satellite pro a40. The case was carved, etched, painted and the lady it was offered to grew attached and fond of it, but it is now out of spec for her use. It has currently IIRC core i5, 8GB, 32GB SSD, 320GB HD. The TFT is good enough for aged eyes, and I could keep it to lower costs. Ideally it should be hackintoshable, but this is not really necessary, and it needs not have upgradability further down the road (soldered ram and no GPU upgradability is OK).

    Please share your thoughts, even if it just to tell me why the project idea is silly/boring ...
