I just went with the lubuntu default for alignment of root etc. - was this a mistake? Should the start of the partition have a certain alignment to get the fs blocks aligned with the SSD blocks? Maybe start it at sector 256?

I'm planning to jiggle it anyway to get rid of the swap partition, so I could do this at the same time.
