Replacing Faulty Power Button/Button Mouse Board ASUS K501IJ

    I was able to source the correct replacement part. I was concerned that the sharp creases in the ribbon cable might have broken the fine wires. That said I see the part 2nd hand on Ebay. So I assume the cables can be removed and fitted back in, that being so I can reuse the cables that are already attached to the original part in the machine.

    I've watched a couple of ASUS K501IJ YouTube disassembly videos. This one,

    " ASUS K50I laptop disassembly video, 22:50 into the video he is working near the on/off power button located top right. After turning the case over, 23:30 he removes a board. But I can't recognise the power button board I have.
    Any help advice on how to replace this part appreciated.
