Removing launch icons from Xfce desktop pannel

    Much like a few other people on this forum, when i set up the changedesktop script to use the Xfce desktop, i added a few extra launch buttons in the panel. mmmike found a remedy for this:

    When I try to edit the .xml file I must be doing something wrong. I can delete the lines of the unwanted icons, and delete the actual "launcher-'insertnumber'.rc" file, but it wont remove the launch buttons from the panel. After a reboot, nothing seems to have changed.

    Am I editing the .xml file incorrectly? I amd oing it all in mousepad.

    I think a few others are having an issue with this problem as well, it would be great for some help.
