Red Cross & McAfee

    Since I only use webmail I disabled the McAfee spam and email scanning options.

    But now I have a red cross in my mcAfee taskbar icon. I assume it is because I am not using all McAfee options.

    I looked at the alert options but did not find an option to disable these alerts.

    How do I get rid of this red cross ?
