Recording Software? Mic?

    Any suggestions on how to use the Aspire1 as recording equipment? I want to to some simple recording of my own music - single instrument and voice - and would like suggestions on software and microphone. thanks.

    Try cheese tough that also records video+sound.

    I recommend Audacity, free and open source for Linux, Windows and OSX. No idea what mic to get, sorry.

    Microphone is included in AA1(i have never tested it, because no recording software..), so you won't need to buy a new microphone, but if you want to, i recommend you to buy microphone with battery(better quality, high power), and don't use USB microphone, because .... you know, that Linpus thing..... ;)
