Recomend me an audio ripper for Linpus

    Hello

    Can some recomend a program to confert my audio cds to mp3?

    Thanks as VLC does seem to work at ripping music. Or I can't figure out how to do it.

    I have VLC on the linpus and would have though that the codec would be installed with the program

    How were you able to get VLC to install? i cant seem to get it to work it spits out a bunch of errors every time i try.
    I have read through almost all of the walk-throughs and they don't work. i am in the middle or reformatting, but i cannot even
    seem to be able to install any audio/video applications? anyone else have a similar problem?

    I have tried to install the RPM for VLC before, should I try to get the non-free one and see if that makes a difference?
