Random Wifi Dropouts

    ok my turn to ask for help :)

    every now and again - seems totally random the wifi will totally die as in it turns off and disappears from network mnager only way to get it back is usually turning my AAO off and back on after 5 mins or so.

    any ideas

    Hi. I'm starting to experience just the same thing. Did you fix it? I can't find anything about it around the forum.

    Generally flashing to the latest stable bios (3305) and updating the wireless driver to at least 1.7.6.159 (.160 is available on some sites but I have not tested it), will cure most wifi problems like this.

    Thanks, I looked around and found that kind of info. Sometimes the hardest part when searching is finding the right word(s) when engish is not your first language.

    Now I just have to find out how to install drivers in linpus... ah, the joy of learning. :D
