    Say, I have two 3-cell batteries, is there a way i could change one of those batteries into the A1 without shutting down the pc?

    No.

    (Hibernate is the only option but it's not in Linpus shutdown menu,
    with command "uswsusp" or "hibernate" maybe?...)
