Hi guys, I'm about to upgrade my newly bought aoa150 from XP to windows 7.
I went to the acer drivers download page but sadly found no drivers for windows 7.

Will the XP drivers work fine on windows 7?
Any AOA150 users who have tried this?

W7 has the drivers you need.
A few will be updated via Windows Update. The only problem is the WiFi adapter. The driver has been updated several times, but still the adapter might disconnect under heavy load (which I think is the problem).

I had to use the vista driver for the track pad multitouch on W7. Some of the Vista drivers work well in W7.

So basically I just need install Windows 7 on it and then it automatically finds all the drivers just like in vista?

Bad news about that wifi adapter tho..

I haven't noticed any problem yet, wifi is OK.
I haven't installed any drivers everything works out of the box.
I've just noticed an unrecognized hardware for which no drivers couldn't been found but I can't figure out what...

That would be the card reader, I guess. There should be a driver here somewhere.
    Edit: Here: viewtopic.php?f=80&t=18533&p=106703&hilit=driver+card+reader#p106703
By the way for all practical purposes, W7 is like a Vista SP3 or SP4. So using a Vista driver would always be first try.

Edit2: Now I've got the card reader on the left side working (Storage Expansion), but the usual card reader on the left is dead, seems.

I tried W7 on my ZG5 and it worked pretty well -

Wifi works fine except when trying to do file transfers over the network - or other high speed downloads. I tried quite a few drivers, but none eliminated the problem. This was a bit of a deal breaker for me - I'm back to xp home for now.

Bit of a trick to get the camera working - but see elsewhere on the forum for the answer.

    hallo all.

i have an AOA150 running win7. most of the drivers were automatically installed since win7 is king, yet there were a handful that i guess does not exist for the aoa150 on win7 yet. (also, if you go to acer's support site you'll see that they do not even show that it can run win7 or vista)

so i was wondering whether or not i should just use the winxp drivers for my 3G module driver and synaptics trackpad driver, or should i use the win7 drivers meant for the AOD150?

    thanks,
    mjrtom
