    i'm not talking about AspireONE itself but the cable it uses to connect Keyboard, Trackpad and SSD (maybe Screen too). it's called Flat Flex Cable and according to Wikipedia article, it has only 5 years life.

    if that's ture, the aspire won't be working after 5 years?

    i'm sure most of us would have bought atleast couple of laptops by then. i'm just curious to know if that thing is ture!

    LOL... Even if cable is not OK after five years you can replace it :) Obviously if you going to keep AA1 that long... :)

    i'm sure i'm not gonna keep mine for that long but not everybody can replace cables. my point is "IS ACER LETTING IT'S CUSTOMERS KNOW ABOUT THAT?"

    They've been using these cables for 20+ years and they certainly last longer than 5. You can't always believe what you read on wikipedia. The fan, on the other hand, will likely die before the cables.
