problems with quick launch toolbar and google gadget sidebar

    hi all, got my replacement back - the last had to go back after a blue line appeared after my xp install :?

    anyway, all going great now XP installed..just pick up a few minor but annoying points - see if any of you guys can help please. :)

    1) the quick launch tool bar keep resetting back to non quick launch after every start/shut down !?
    2) the google side bar, the gadgets resize itself after every start/shut down !?

    any ideas?
