Problems with GUI for Linpus on Aspire One

    Hi, I just bought a aspire one with Linpus. I never used Linux and just discovery it doenst come with a graphic interface. It just respond to commands, which I dont know. How can I install a graphic interface for Aspire One D250-1199? Please, I need to use the computer I just bought!

    I'm definitely no Linpus expert but if you put some effort in (The how-to guides are fantastic, the search function on here works fine & Google's great) you might actually get to like Linpus. Definitely worth a wee try before you dump it.
    Can always ask for assistance in here if you're struggling.

    That's funny. I dropped Linpus because it had no text terminal program. Linpus sure has a graphical interface. If you see no graphical interface at all, something is definitely wrong. Do you see any error messages? Does it help to press [ctrl]+[alt]+[F7]?
