pointer

I finally fixed the wireless internet connect problem but have not been able to solve the problem with the pointer. I keep getting the 'bull's eye' under the pointer and it will hangup on me for a second and then sometimes pages just scroll for no reason or pages or portions of script will blue out. Frankly this is so bad the computer is almost unusable. I've downloaded the latest synaptics driver but it hasn't done anything for this problem. Any clues on how to fix this problem and am I the only one with the problem? Thanx

 

I've never seen the bullseye. Are you near the edges of the touchpad? Maybe it's the "chiral" motion being activated. you can try disabling this if you don't want the chiral scrolling. It's one of the options in the touchpad settings tab.
