I hope I can explain what I'm looking for.

I'd like a plug that I can plug directly into the power brick so that I can then plug the brick right into an outlet. That way I can leave half the cord at home when I travel. Am I making sense? Any ideas?

Also, can someone recommend a good small surge protector that I can use with my Acer 10"? I only need to plug the computer in and nothing else.

Thanks for all your help in getting me going with my new Acer.

Someone posted a link to a Dell plug last year here, but it was very expensive. You could just get a spare lead & cut it, with a very short length to a plug.
That's less likely to break anything too, if you accidentally pull on the lead to the brick.

I bought an inline surge protector on Amazon, but it's not currently available.

    This should do.

Thanks for your help. Have you actually used this plug with your Acer?
