Please help me to love my acer! (Wifi Related)

    Hey guys, my baby is just one week old, and I'm suffering from Wifi-related problems.

    After about 5-10 minutes of being connected via wifi, my internet will suddenly cease functioning, but I will still be connected to the Wifi, my wired computers work, and my iPhone works fine.
    I am running the XP version (A-150)

    Please please please!

    I'm not sure this applies for you but sometimes when my wireless doesn't work if I turn off power to my wireless router and then turn it back on the wireless works again. I believe this is due to the cable company connection not having the right timing to see the wireless when they send a test signal which they do several times per day.

    check power settings in device manager -> network adapters -> atheros ar5700eg -> advanced -> Power saving mode, change to normal or none.
