    Considering MacBook Air with specs
    • 1.8GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor
    • Turbo Boost up to 2.9GHz
    • 8GB 1600MHz LPDDR3 memory
    • 128GB SSD storage1
    • Intel HD Graphics 6000
    Comparing to Dell LAptop with specs
    -intel core i5 7200 2.5 GHz
    -4Gb RAM
    -500 Gb HDD
    -2 Gb Radeon Graphics

    Please Help me decide what laptop to buy for my Grade six Daughter for her graduation present...

    What is your price range? I know that Macs are popular with middle schoolers and a lot of kids in general, but those specs feel terribly dated for 2018, other brands could deliver you the sleek design and more power for less. For example, Xiaomi is a huge player int he market, with on-par specs to Macs and much better prices.

    If you are considering these two options then go for MacBook Air.
