pci slot peg removal

    I seen the post about snipping the tip off the post to make a pci-e card fit.

    Could you just use a rotary tool with a cutoff wheel and remove the whole post?

    OK. I was able to remove it.. However after i reassembled the netbook my touchpad is not working. The buttons work but not the pad. Where is the connection for it.

    Also How do you secure a full size card in the slot since there is no screw holes at the end.
