Password problems

    When I enter my password the lap top will partially open to show the welcome and then displays the message wrong password. User name is correct. I have managed to get in and then started to proceed in creating a recovery disc when it asked for the password and then threw me AGAIN! Can anyone help?

    Can you offer a few more details on the problem? Are you sure you're typing the correct password? Have you tried doing a system repair with the boot cd? What operating system are you running?
