note book disc check?

hi first time here my question is my aspire one had a yellow thing come on screen about memory i shut it down now all it wants to do is disc check.is there any easy diy fix or is hard drive gone?

 

The warning you saw was more than likely about virtual memory and that windows was resizing the paging file. It's nothing to worry about really. If you want to run a disk check, boot back into windows, goto my computer, right click on your C drive, goto properties, when the window loads, choose the tools tab, disk check is in there.

 

Hi swarvey it constantly wants to disc check without booting up is the problem. if you cancel disk check it goes to screen with safe mode or last known good configuration that works and just doesnt boot up.
