Finally found two managers (at different stores) the recall, is not about a technical issue.

Seems like PC World jumped the gun OOOOOOOOPS

hope they don't recall mine, ive installed Vista, added RAM and taken it apart 3 times in total now.
I doubt they can though, because I paid cash. Is there anywhere I can register it online? I'll have a quick look.

They wont physically recall it, it sounds like they started selling them too early.

To save the curious the trouble: a store called PC World in the UK started selling aa1s before the official date, some people say the stock was recalled from the store warehouses by Acer in response.

Well i just got my Acer One after much too-ing and fro-ing i saw the thread - "RECALL - PC World" - i nearly had a heart attack!
