No VGA Cable

    Just bought a new Acer one...like it so far so decided to buy a Dell IN1910N external monitor to use with it when at home....supposed to be plug and play but says "no vga cable" on the screen...I searched but couldn't find anyone else having this problem...

    I had a similar problem that I posted about in the beginner's Linux section. My problem was solved by pressing Fn F5 successively until the display was corrected.

    did you go into the intel display control panel settings and enable the second monitor?
