There's no sound on headphones (external audio out). Can this be a software issue or is the sound card (plug) broken? Headphones worked fine before, but now when I plug them in the internal speakers are turned off, but there's no sound on the headphones. I tried to adjust the volume, and turning audio on/off manually but that didn't help. Headphones are working well with other equipment.
In 1990s I was able to break a creative soundcard by plugging an external audio jack when the computer was on, but I thought this kind of ungrounded-electric-shock-things would be fixed in computer business 15 years ago.
Anyone else struggling with same kind of issues?
