No Recovery DVD delivered for A110L

    Unfortunately Acer does not deliver recovery DVDs any longer with the A110L (I tried in 2 shops in Germany - no recovery DVD). Anyone knows, where to get a DVD (or USB stick, or download source)? I changed the group of the standard user "user" by mistake. Now the screen remains black after booting. Seems to be a case for recovery ... Can anyone advice ?

    my A110L neither came with an recovery CD, wonder why?
    The Link you provided doesnt work anymore :cry:
    Can someone provide a link to a valid A110L recovery?

    I called Acer the other day and they told me they would send me a CD/DVD as soon as possible.
    We will see, I'll keep you posted wheather or not Acer will actually send me the CD.

    Received the recovery DVD from Acer promptly.

    Here in portugal acer want's 60€ for the Recovery CD!!!!!!!!!! :eek: :eek: :eek:
