Apparently the brightness OSD is not working on my Ubuntu install. I try opening the Brightness applet on one of my panels and the slide won't make any effect on the screen brightness however the FN keys for brightness are working although I would like to get the fancy brightness OSD. I heard I had to install the aspire one kernel for it to work but I tried and it wouldnt let me install it. Any feedback ?
