Next stop: Chrome OS

    Surely this will be a good move. I am getting a new system, as I need something to keep in my workroom. I found a good deal at TigerDirect,com. I am so impressed with everything Google, that I think I will not regret this purchase. I had never even heard of Chrome OS until I came to this forum! So thanks for the tip!

    I also came to know about Chrome Os on this forum. However, I don't know much about Chrome OS. Is this available for computers and laptops, or is used only on hand held devices or tablets? Since Google is a big brand, I Believe chrome is a good OS. I have heard about chrome book, does chrome book use chrome OS?

    Chromebook uses Chrome OS, as does Chromebox, which is the desktop version. It is a strickly online machine. Apps are used in place of programs that would be installed to your harddrive. These apps work across devices, which makes Chrome a powerhouse. Mine arrive Wednesday.
