New Netbooks

    All, it looks like there are more contenders in the netbook arena. Dell put out it's SSD netbook 2 weeks ago and now Averatec is releasing a netbook with similar numbers as the newest AA1. It is at a higher price point, $449

    The Averatec hasn't released all of its specs but I would bet they looked at the AA1 and tried to match it. The good news is the AA1 has them beat on price $399. With all this competition, I hope to see price reductions similar to the drop last month. Now all they have to do is start delivering them in the USA!!

    I ordered my AA1 160 GB with 6 cell from Amazon and I am still waiting for it to be shipped. Acer better get its act together!!

    It's well known that Averatec has been selling rebadged MSI Wind's in UK. This looks like another version.
