What size HDD is in the AA1 (1.8" or 2.5")?

is it soldered in or is it replaceable.

if it is replaceable is it and easy job or a bit of a mess?

The 8GB SSD is 100% positive a 1.8" ZIF Drive. It uses the Toshiba pin out, so if you get certian hitachi drives, you will need a flip cable. Not sure on the HD version of the AspireOne, as they are not really shipping yet...

can't remember what the ship date is on play.com for the hdd version. when i upgrade the ram in it, i will take a look.
