New AAO User!

    Hello!
    I ordered my AAO today from NewEgg. It'll be my birthday present to myself. I have an EeePC 701 4G which I really like, but the 7 inch 800X640 screen just got to be too annoying for my poor eyes. I got the Sapphire Blue 160GB version with 1GB RAM, 6 cell battery and WinXP. Can't wait! Thanks for such a terrific forum! :D

    Welcome to the forum mate!

    Lots of useful information here for ya, as you know already :)

    Always good to see new users coming on board. So many things you can do with these little laptops. I'm running Vista on mine, didn't think it would run too good, but it actually runs excellent for such a small machine. Ubuntu linux and XP both run great too, which I have played with.

    Good luck with the new purchase, hope you have a lot of fun!
