need help on MB ribbon cable

hi

i tried to upgrade RAM today. found out that the ribbon cable connecting keyboard/ssd are very difficult to re-connect because of the plastic piece holding between pins and ribbon. i also broke one pin of MB connector, i guess that's not really the contact pin, just extension. so it still works fine. i want to upgrade my ssd to hd later, wonder how many times that ribbon cable can be disconnected and connected. anyone had the same experience?
