Need help fast

My acer one got a virus and now will not run any programs; i removed from start up in msconfig, but i believe it deleted stuff from system 32 because when i try to run somthing an error comes up saying it will not run and shows a path to system32. I tryed using the recovery system in the start menu but will not work. So any other way for me to recover the hd.
