Need a better Wifi Adapter in Dell Latitude 3540

    My Dell Latitude has a Intel 7260 dual band wireless adapter in it right now

    I was wondering if the Intel 8265 dual band wireless adapter would work? I read that is the best wifi adapter in 2022 on google.

    I noticed that they both fit in a PCIe slot but the 7260 only has 1 slit in it and the 8265 has 2 slits in the connector to attach to the PCIe connector

    Does anyone know if this will fit?
