After returning from standby, quite often my AAO doesn't reconnect to my wlan.
The only way to reconnect is to disable/enable the wireless card (via the button on the front).
It's worth noting that I can't reconnect via the network manager.

Anyone else got this problem? Solution?

    I have the linpus OS.

Well I changed to the custom desktop and mine does reconnect after standby, have a read of the thread, I seem to remember a comment about why this is so, it may help you fix it.

Try changing your power management settings to be slightly less restrictive- sometimes the computer "forgets" to wake the wireless card back up if it is set to super-battery-saver mode.

But there aren't much there to fiddle with? If i ain't mistaken the only thing I can control is the auto standby time?

    Hi!

I have also this wake-up connection problem. When AspireOne wakes it very soon pops up messagebox "network connection has been disconnected" then after about 10 seconds machine tries to connect wlan, but about 90% of time it again gives this "network connection..." error.

I have tried with Buffalo and Apple Airport Extreme wifi-hubs and having same problem with both.

    Any solutions?

    Thank you,
    Harri

Mine will re-connect to an open wlan but not to my protected wlan after standby.

I am also having the same problem, first connect mostly fails, sometimes works, after reboot or suspend. Bloody annoying!
