Hi, i used my aspire one with many of the custom kernels i found here and also with the "official" one by the ubuntu team.
With all of this kernels i had the same problem: xd card, ms stick and ms_pro won't work while sd and mmc cards works out of the box.

So i started to check the preinstalled Linpus and found out that in this distro this modules are loaded at boot:
    jmb38x_ms, mspro_block, flash_bd, xd_card, jmb38x_xd (the last 4 are not loaded in ubuntu)

Googling for xd_card and jmb38x_xd card made me found this project:
    http://svn.berlios.de/svnroot/repos/tif ... nk/driver/

plus this discussion in the international ubuntu forum:
    http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p= ... stcount=70

The only problem is that when i try to compile the module source i get many errors and it fails.
If anyone have an idea, this can be usefull :)

    Thanks

I've been in touch with the Jmicron modules' author. For various reasons, his modules were not accepted for inclusion in the Linux kernel. Furthermore, although I was able to tweak the code to get the modules to compile with a kernel later than the 2.6.23 kernel used in Linpus, the modules do not work with later kernels. My camera uses xD cards; I read them on my AA1 using a USB card reader
