MSN Messenger not working!!!

    i try to sign in and it says "Your msn messenger account is error - our protocol is not supported by the server
    please help

    Im tryin to live update thingy, so just post a comment if you want to give me advice on my new present

    Got the same problem here... Updated the One, but still get the same error.

    Use amsn instead. Enable advanced desktop, go into add/remove programs and install amsn. It's a lot more like the real MSN client and it works perfectly.

    Thanks.. will look at that.

    Noticed that our 2 are version 1.0.1.3014, my nieces is 1.0.2.3003
    Ours don't work, hers does.

    I set her netbook up and updated it fine via live update.
    Our's complete the update, but on a reboot it asks to update again !!
    Why do they do that ??
    (all 3 netbooks were set up this PM. Hers is 512, 8GB SSD ours are 1GB and 120GB !!)
