After 3 months of service, my AAO ZG5 (Linux)'s Toshiba MK3008GAL died, should I get another? Or are there better options now?
I'm willing to spend around $25 on replacing it, or up to $35 for a 60GB and up to $40 for 80GB.
    How's SSD mods looking nowadays?

    Hi,

I was just wondering... shouldn't the machine be warranted for more than 3 months?

MK3008GAL is an after market 1.8" zif HDD replacement for the stock SDD (which had abysmal write speeds).

I need to ask a dumb question, does the original cable fit into the Toshiba drive? If so, how?

Edit: nevermind have ordered the thinner cable off ebay.
