I am fixing some issues that my 9 1/2 year old niece has with her AcerOne netbook. I would like to copy her recovery media to a USB flash drive. Neither she nor I have an external DVD RW to burn the disks too. I have a Asus 1000HE and I was able to make a bootable thumb drive that contained my recovery media. Is there any way to do that with an AcerOne?

You would think that netbook manufacturers would make this an available option.

I can easily use GHOST from a bootable thumb drive for System back ups but I am wanting to put the Factory Restore images and the applications and Drivers media on a thumb drive too instead of DVD's. Since a netbook does not have a DVD on it flash drives make much more sense.
