Macbook Air vs Pro

I have a Macbook Pro and I just love it, however when the Air came out, my eyes shifted to it. I like how the Air is very thin and lightweight, which increases its portability. However, the Air doesn't have a CD slot, which is something I still use to this day. Studies and specs have shown that the Pro has better performance than the Air, which I do enjoy in the long run. My next laptop is most likely going to be another Macbook Pro when the time comes, unless Apple surprises us and releases another version, but I doubt it.
