I recently recently bought A150 running linux. (I am a complete linux virgin so please excuse me - have used windows always)
I changed desktop to xfce advanced mode (using xfce-setting-show) and now my web browser does not work. I understand that mozilla is not the default in xfce but when I try to put mozilla under preferred applications it does not recognise it. Just get error message "failed to execute default web browser. failed to execute child process firefox"

Whenever i click on browser on desktop just whirls then nothing!! (network connections still working perfectly)

Please help at the end of my tether as I am beginning to regret buying linux netbook although really impressed with the Acer aspire one itself. Can I just remove xfce advanced desktop or buy external drive and do factory reset. I know it is probably something simple. Please help!
