light blue screen appearing randomly

To whoever may help me

At random times, I'm having this appearance of a light blue screen which is easily remedied by powering off...When this is happening it seems that the laptop is still active and all functions are working.

I have just bought it two days ago and did not do any major tweaks, just installed a number of programs.

My model is a blue A1 with 120GB HDD and it has 1.5gb ram

Hi Stef,
the same problems happened twice already this month for me.
1st time the screen was blank black, but the computer was still active normally.
2nd time the screen was blank cream, and again the computer was still active.
My remedy was just closing the netbook lid and let the windows XP went hibernate.
When I turned it on again, it worked normally.

Could it be the driver problem or the heat problem?
Anybody with the same experience?

my model is A150 with 1GB ram, 120GB HD, win XP home SP3
