I just got a Lenovo V110 for my birthday to use for editing photos for my work. The colour is washed out, and the screen has a dim tinge even though the brightness is up 100% and plugged in. We have tried colour profiles (nothing happened) we have tried display setting, intel settings were the furthest we got but the colour is still way off and the screen is dim, does anyone know how to fix this or have a similar problem? My partner wants to take it to get it returned but now I'm attached to my little alien looking laptop.

The photo is the example of the difference between the screens when plugged into a tv by HDMI because we wanted to make sure it was just the screen. Normally it wouldn't matter, but when it comes to editing photos for my shop, what looks decently edited on this screen looks overly exposed and cringey on a normal screen.
