Keyboard Layout corrupted after Live Update

    Just got a AA1 8G Linux machine, ran as suggested 'Live update' and lost all wiFi icons/ connections. Spent an afternoon in this forum. Thanks to you all for your advice - sadly none of it improved matters, so a system rebuild from the USB stick was needed.

    WiFi back and AA1 prompted for completion of Live Update. Worked ok, WiFi still there - but keyboard layout corrupted. eg backslash and pipe come out as < or >. went round all keybboard layout preferences stetting everything to UK English, reboot - still no joy.

    Any suggestions greatfully recieved
