keyboard issue

    I am having a problem typing where the cursor diaappears and stops typing or else it ends up going back to a word I have already typed and adds the words there instead of just continuing...this being a laptop that I added a mouse to does it have anything to do wirh the finger pad??? I have another laptop and never have problems like that
