Keyboard cable clip Aspire One D257

    Can any one help me source the black plastic clip that holds the keyboard ribbon to the motherboard on Acer Aspire One D257. I broke mine while trying to refit the keyboard after upgrading the RAM I am told that it is only available with the motherboard but is there another source or another way of fixing it? Or has anyone got a faulty motherboard that I could scavenge the clip from?

    There are many, many people who have broken that clip... Scroll DOWN - below this post to see their comments... in fact, in the VERY first - started in 2008 - one person (5th post) answering that post, said -
    (quote) once i found this thread and realised that they rotate is was a 2 second job of clipping them back in place... rotating them up and installing the cables as designed. (unquote)...

    If your clip isn't broken in half... maybe you could 'click' it back on ?
