Is my laptop too outdated?

    Hi,

    I currently use a Macbook Air 8gb of ram and 128 SSD.

    I am thinking of switching to a new laptop because I feel that mine is getting outdated. I need it for basic college stuff , video streaming, and 1080p video editing as well (usually for youtube on adobe). I also NEED a good battery life(one of the reasons I chose the macbook air).

    So my question is that is there any other laptop in the 900-110 dollar range that is more new and can perform these tasks as good as or better than the macbook air. I do not mind windows as well, it should just be a good laptop.

    Why dont you check these laptops
    Dell Latitude E5570 - 15.6" FHD / i7-2.60GHz / 16GB / 500GB / 2GB VGA / Win 10 Pro
    Dell Inspiron 5559 - 15.6" HD / i7-2.50GHz / 16GB / 1TB / 4GB VGA / Win 10 Pro
    Lenovo Z51-70 - 15.6" FHD / i7-2.40GHz / 8GB / 1TB / 4GB VGA / Win 7 Pro

    as you mentioned above for basic college stuff and video streaming i think these are some good laptops...you should check it on wantITbuyIT or any other online shop.
