    It sounds as if you are maybe thinking of buying one of these...

    Nearly all modern BIOS's allow to boot from USB, so it should be possible... tho' never having owned a Lenovo I cannot be positive...

    IF you already own one, and cannot find how to get it to boot from USB... it could be because it is a two step procedure.
    FIRST - put USB in an USB slot
    THEN - Switch computer ON and go into BIOS… ([Esc], [F1], or [F2] key - read user manual).

    You might see a ‘list’ of bootable devices which needs the one you want to boot first to be moved to the top of the list... [F6] key sometimes (see right side of display for HELP)

    OR have to click on the one already set as ‘boot device’ - then cursor down to select the USB device you want to use…
