    Hi

Bit of a puzzler this! Noticed this a few times, but sometimes this machine will happily connect to a wireless connection, but time out when you try and get the internet to work! In the city today I connected at a museum, and then to a BT openhub in a coffee shop and couldn't get internet to load any websites

Then later on, in shop I bought this damn thing, bang, starts straightaway!

Do certain types of wireless connection not like linpus, or firefox 2, or Acer machines?

    Hi,

Never had any issues myself except Gatwick airport occasionally (with phone as well) so suspect it is the local WiFi that is at fault rather than your box, if you have a WiFi phone next time this happens try your phone as well, that will definitively give you an answer, sorry I can not be of more help.
