Anyone tried swapping the WiFi card to an Intel 4965AGN (dual band 802.11 a/b/g/n mini PCI-E card)?

The XP drivers are available from the Intel website.

I just ordered one from ebay, two people in this thread have one also: viewtopic.php?f=70&t=10234

Although im interested, the 4965AGN has 3 connectors for the anntanae but the AAO only has two (black and white wires)

Is this to do with N? does it mean that N wont work when using the 4965 in the AAO?

I've seen posts elsewhere where people have fitted the 4965 to laptops with only two antennas and just connected to the outer two connections. Those are TX/RX connections but the centre one is RX only. Seemed to work OK - I guess you lose some of the diversity by only having two RX antennas, and hence some of the performance gains - but it's a whole lot easier than taking the display apart to fit the third antenna.
