I bought a nice little 1.8" external hard drive (30GB), and I would like to install Windows 7 ON it (NOT FROM it). With a desktop, the usual hack to do this is to move the external drive internally to the desktop, install on the drive, then connect the drive back in the external housing. You obviously can't do this with a Netbook. The Win7 installer doesn't like installing to USB or IEEE1394 drives, so I need a 'hack' to force it or something.
