    Hey
I replaced my Laptop "DVD Writer" with an SSD hard drive. Now I want to install Windows and my software on the SSD hard drive. Is this possible? Wouldn't that be a problem?
    Thanks,

You can easily clone your complete system from your main drive to the ssd drive
using a free program called BACKUPPER

You will not be able to run the ssd from the dvd tray when you have cloned the system
you need to make the ssd you main drive that’s swapping it over.

The Backupper software is great for backing up your system to a separate drive

Thanks for your answer but I don't understand this part:
You will not be able to run the ssd from the dvd tray when you have cloned the system
you need to make the ssd you main drive that’s swapping it over.
notice: I replaced my Laptop "DVD Writer" with SSD

Windows will not run from any other drive other than the main drive, your dvd slot will be treated as if it was an
    external drive.

Check your bios to see if you can change the boot order to the SSD so you can boot from it after you get you OS installed on it. You will need to have some way of installing or cloning the current boot drive to the SSD. It can be tricky, but it is do-able. I can't guarantee you can be successful, but I think chances are good.

I think you should replace your main memory with SSD then you will easily able to run window and software in it.

Yes, it is possible to install Windows and your software on the SSD hard drive after replacing your laptop's DVD writer with it. In fact, this is a common upgrade that many people do to improve their laptop's performance.

There are a few things you need to do before you can install Windows on the SSD. First, you need to create a bootable USB drive with the Windows installation media. You can do this using the Microsoft Media Creation Tool. Once you have the bootable USB drive, you can follow these steps to install Windows on the SSD:

    1. Boot your laptop from the USB drive.
    2. Follow the on-screen instructions to install Windows.
    3. When you get to the part where you choose where to install Windows, select the SSD hard drive.
    4. Follow the remaining instructions to complete the installation.
Once Windows is installed on the SSD, you can install your software on it as well. Just make sure that the software is compatible with running on an SSD.
